Letter of thanks from Jan Linch – The Aurora Tsunami Orphanage Appeal charity for being at the first gathering.
My Dear Christarose,
Congratulations for such a fantastic The I AM Family of Light weekend. I know that you and Bob put so much hard work and dedication into it to make it a wonderful success, and you certainly DID succeed!
I feel extremely honoured to be part of the team of Lightworkers – helping to plant the seed of Light, in order to spread it around the Earth and out to the Universe and back again.
Wow! I can honestly say that I have never experienced such an overwhelming, Divine power of Love shared by such a wonderful group of Lightbeings.
My heart is still overflowing and radiating that Love out to the world.
That overwhelming, Divine power of Love needs to be continued, and I can’t wait for the next one. I will make contact with my friends in Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.
I know that the Irish people who attended were extremely keen to welcome The I AM Family of Light.
Everything I had planned to say in my talk disappeared when I went on stage. I have never had that happen before. I felt a bit like Mr. Bean when he came down in the light – only to have the light switched off and feeling abandoned!
And so, I thought - O.K - no problem – I will have to go with the flow. I did that alright when I broke down. I thought I had blown it – gone to pieces for the first time in my life. I guess I didn’t realise that spirit wanted to touch the hearts of those in the moment.
Having a vision to complete the Aurora village for Christmas has now been made possible by the networking of The I AM Family of Light, and on behalf of the Aurora charity I would like to thank you and ALL of the Light workers involved from the bottom of my heart.
You are certainly the Angel that Akasha-Rose described you as.
With regards to the donated house – number 24.
A lady stopped and said that did I know that 24 is also 6 when added together, and that the six represented the Elohim and the six pointed star. I hadn’t actually thought about it in that context but it does fall into place.
It was for this reason that one of the team suggested that the house be named ELOHIM (with or without the H) so that it would read on the plaque:-
House number 24,
Elohim,
Donated by:
The I Am Family of Light.
Please let me know what you think?
Love and Light Jan xxx

The Aurora Tsunami Orphanage Appeal
Well, it's been two years now since we launched our appeal to build a village in Kosgoda Sri Lanka for tsunami victims. Two years ago we purchased five acres of land in Sri Lanka on behalf of the Aurora Charity, and it was on this plot of land that we had a vision - a vision of happy families and the sound of children's laughter echoing through a new village - a new village comprising forty houses, a Montessori School, a medical centre and four shops. Well, this vision has now become reality and we couldn't have done it without the thousands of donations from schools, businesses and many families, all wanting to rightly 'see' where their donations were going. It has also been the sheer faith, hard work and determination of our Aurora Charity Volunteers that has helped this mission to succeed.
Throughout the two years of hard work, we have received a lot of recognition from the BBC, Meridian TV, several appeals on local radios, and not forgetting of course The Kent Messenger and The Downs Mail. We have also won several awards including The Kent Messenger People of the Year Award for 2005 and a humanitarian award from the Sri Lankan President.
In October 2006 at their holistic weekend, The I AM Family of Light very kindly donated £3,000 towards the sponsorship of house number 24, which is to be called, 'ELOHIM.' The house was due to have its first foundation stone placed into the ground on the 8th December (a very auspicious stone and a very auspicious time & date). However, due to three months of heavy rain it was put off until our return trip in April 2007 (their New Year). It is hoped that house number 24 will be completed soon after, and Christarose and her daughters will hopefully be handing over the keys to the family later this year.
The 8th December will be a memory that we shall never forget. Hundreds of thankful people were waiting for our arrival. We were all welcomed with garlands and bouquets of flowers. The feeling of gratitude was unbelievable and extremely moving beyond everyone's emotions. It was an honour for everyone to be part of this fantastic celebration. There was an elephant in full regalia, dancers and drummers as well as children leading the procession with a fantastic dance routine.
Whilst the ceremony consisted of many speeches, the highlight for many of our volunteers was handing over the keys to the families of their new houses.

The day was filled with tears of laughter and joy - a day to remember.
Towards the evening as the sun was going down we could hear the sound of children playing. The sound of laughter filled the air as well as our hearts. We followed the sound to the children's playground which was kindly donated to the village by several of our volunteers. What a wonderful ending to such a beautiful day.
The Aurora Village looked beautiful as the sun went down. The houses of many colours were glowing within the hues of the sunset. The sounds of happy families and the washing on the lines meant that these people had started to enjoy their lives once again. The fauna and the flora bringing in an ambience of light and peace once again.

When we arrived back from Sri Lanka in the New Year of 2007, we had just begun the third and final stage of completing the last seven houses. We had two more houses left for sponsorship at £6,000 each. We needed another £30,000 to complete the project by April (the Sri Lankan New Year). Once again, faith prevailed and another £20,000 came in, and now we only need £10,000 to complete the project, and we have one house left for sponsorship. So, if there is anyone out there who would like to donate towards the last £10,000 or maybe even donate the very last house, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
And so, once again we would like to thank all of our volunteers and everyone who very kindly donated to our project (not forgetting our great hard working team back home, left to hold the fort in our absence).
It has been a great pleasure to have you all on board.
The Aurora Tsunami Orphanage Appeal is a registered charity based in Maidstone Kent. Should you wish to continue supporting the charity please check our website www.atoa.co.uk or telephone Jan or Ian on 01622 842222
Total Amount raised so far £270,000
Total Amount still needed in order to complete the project = £10,000
One more house left for sponsorship. They cost £6,000 to build now due to the increase in building materials and labour costs. However, should anyone be interested in donating £3,000 (the original cost) then the charity will accept that. This does mean that the charity has to raise the other half.
Many Blessings
Jan & Ian (Linch)
